PROJECT OVERVIEW
Pamela Love and I collaborated to transform her signature Talon Cuff into the Mammoth Talon Cuff.
I resculpted the original form to improve its fit and articulation, then hand-carved its talons from 10,000–30,000-year-old Siberian woolly mammoth tusk bark. Six black diamonds were inlaid into the palm, and each cuff was numbered in scrimshaw on one claw.
I also designed, engraved, and built its black wood presentation case, completed with a four-inch glass dome. Together, the jewelry and case transformed a wearable object into a collectible sculptural specimen.
